Sour Beer Blog Stemmed Tulip Glass: Set of Two
We are very excited to be able to offer these new Sour Beer Blog glasses to our fans! Created by Belgian glass-maker Durobor, the Charente combines the classic design of a Belgian tulip with the elongated stem of a wine glass. We feel that this design is perfect for serving practically every style of sour beer. The tulip concentrates aromas and offers a comfortable drinking lip while the stem keeps your hands away from the upper portion of the glass, preserving temperature and allowing the drinker to savor the nuances of a sour beer for longer. Additionally, these sturdy, large-format glasses hold a full 16 oz. of fluid, which we find awesome for two reasons: The first is that you can pour a full 375 mL of Lambic into this glass (with ample head space!) without having to upright the bottle and stir up the dregs. The second is that, when tasting, the average drinker’s nose will comfortably fit into the portion of the glass where aromas are most concentrated.
We truly hope that you will enjoy drinking from these glasses as much as we do, and we appreciate your support because every sale helps us to keep creating new content, providing sour beer education, and sponsoring fantastic programs like The Sour Hour!
We are offering these glasses in pairs of two, with shipping included, for a flat rate of $30 per set. (Our shipping promotion is for US residents only. For international orders, please email us for a custom shipping quote. Cheers!)
